Ms. Nina Pan grew up in a traditional Chinese family in Shanghai, China. Her grandfather and uncle both practiced Chinese Medicine and introduced her to the ancient art of healing. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Ms. Pan worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she conducted research of human diseases at the cellular level. However, she was not satisfied with just the understanding of diseases, what she really love is the interaction with people, problem solving and the desire to help people feel better. Eventually, family encouragement and personal interest led her down the path to Chinese Medicine.
After four years of post-graduate study at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, Ms. Pan received her Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is nationally certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Pennsylvania as well as in New Jersey. Ms. Nina Pan is a member of AAOM (American Association of Oriental Medicine).
